Kyiv: Ukraine faced one of the largest overnight attacks in recent months as Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles across several regions while peace discussions involving United States representatives continued in Kyiv.

According to Ukrainian officials, Russia fired 653 drones and 51 missiles during the attack. Air defense systems intercepted most of them, but several explosions were reported after strikes hit energy facilities and civilian infrastructure. At least 29 locations across the country were affected. Authorities confirmed that eight people were injured during the assault, including three in the Kyiv region.
