SRINAGAR : Barkah Hussain, an undergraduate student of Computer Science and Technology at the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Kashmir, has been named one of the two global recipients of the Obada Prize 2024 in the undergraduate and postgraduate category. The award, instituted in honour of Prof Abdel-Shafy Obada, recognises creative and interdisciplinary research across the world. At the ceremony, student winners receive a certificate, the Obada-Prize medal, and a document confirming the Obada-Prize amount, which functions as a waiver code for publication fees in the international journals of Natural Sciences Publishing.
