The NHS has outlined the key signs of skin cancer to watch out for after TV presenter Ardian Chiles shares that he has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. The health service is urging Brits to check themselves as the earlier cancer is spotted, the easier it is to treat. ‌

In a recent column for The Guardian, Adrian detailed how a "thing" he discovered on his shoulder turned out to be cancer. Squamous cell carcinoma is said to be a fairly common type of non-melanoma skin cancer, which makes it easier to treat as it doesn't usually spread to other parts of the body like melanoma does. ‌
