Kashmir University Restricts Nocturnal Movement Amid Bear Sightings

SRINAGAR : Authorities at Kashmir University have issued an advisory to students following confirmed movement of a bear in and around the Naseem Bagh campus, asking them to strictly avoid venturing out during nocturnal hours and refrain from using the Naseem Bagh route until the animal is captured. Chief Proctor of Kashmir University, Professor Imtiyaz, confirmed the development and said bear movement has been reported in and around the university campus for the last few days. He said students have been clearly instructed to stop walking through the Naseem Bagh area, particularly during night hours, to avoid any untoward incident.
