Frank Lampard has made one forced change to his Coventry City side to face Ipswich Town, with Victor Torp sitting out at Portman Road.

The central midfielder is understood to have travelled but presumed either ill or injured – his absence opening the door for a rare start for Kaine Kesler-Hayden which suggests a formation switch, potentially to 3-4-3.

There is still no Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, who sits out his second consecutive game with a concussion, but Haji Wright returns to the matchday squad after three games out and returns as an option on the bench where Lampard has named a second understudy goalkeeper in Oscar Varney.
