India and the United States (US) have expressed concern over the increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones, and AI for terrorist purposes.

“India and the US held the 21st Meeting of the India-US Joint Working Group (JWG) on Counter Terrorism (CT) and the 7th Designations Dialogue on 3 December 2025 in New Delhi,” a joint press release said on Saturday.

Dr. Vinod Bahade, Joint Secretary (Counter Terrorism) in the Ministry of External Affairs of India, and Ms. Monica Jacobsen, Senior Bureau Official in the Bureau of Counterterrorism in the United States Department of State, led their respective delegations.
