CLINTON, Iowa (KWQC) - What started as a simple father-stepson project 15 years ago has grown into a holiday spectacle that draws traffic lines stretching to Bluff Boulevard.
Tim Grinnall’s holiday light display in Clinton has expanded beyond his own property, now incorporating his neighbor’s yard to accommodate the growing show.
“It started about 15 years ago when my stepson and I decided to start decorating and at that point, we decided to do a static display,” Grinnall said.
The display has evolved from static decorations to an animated light show that attracts visitors from across the region. Last year, traffic backed up to Bluff Boulevard on the three days before Christmas as people came to see the lights.
