Edward Michael Gayoski, 82, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by his family.

Edward was born on October 12, 1943, in Fort William, Ontario, to Edward and Mary Gayoski. He attended Vickers Heights Public School and Selkirk CVI, graduating in 1960. He later attended Queen’s University and received his MIMA certification.

Edward had a career in property assessment, serving the Municipality of Neebing and the Ministry of Revenue and Finance, eventually becoming Manager of Assessment Services for Thunder Bay, Kenora, and Rainy River until his retirement in 1997. After retiring, he worked part-time at Vanderwees Garden Centre and volunteered with Hope CRC.

Edward met his wife, Joan, while working at the Municipality of Neeb
