An Alabama 10-year-old is looking to make a big impact on those in need in her community this Christmas, one “Holley Jolly Stocking” at a time.

Holley Amburn, a fifth grade student at Pike Road Intermediate School, is collecting donations to help give the gift of food, warmth and more to those who might otherwise go without this holiday season.

Amburn said she was first inspired to do something for others after visiting Chris’ Famous Hot Dogs in Montgomery and learning that they offer Agape, or hot, free meals, that customers in need could claim. With the beloved restaurant currently closed for renovations, the fifth grader decided now was the time to help out in her own way.
