Coming off the heels of the 2025 Ring of Honor Final Battle pay-per-view, the post-show media scrum took place, hosted by ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni and AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan in Columbus, Ohio. During the scrum session, Khan was asked if there could be an AEW all-women’s pay-per-view. Khan said he thinks it would be great to do that and suggested a Global Wars special featuring women wrestlers from all over.

Khan shared that he is happy with the progress of the women’s division in both his companies. He stated, “I think certainly having more events that include more and more women’s championships and matches has been fantastic.
