Chandigarh, December 6, 2025 — After meeting with Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Navjot Kaur Sidhu said that her husband, former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, will only return to active politics if the party formally announces him as its Chief Ministerial face.

She said Sidhu has the capability to deliver results and transform Punjab into a “Golden State,” but made it clear that unlike other contenders, “we cannot and will not offer money to secure positions.”
