Jaipur, Dec 6: Rajasthan has set a new national benchmark in electoral reforms by becoming the first state in India to achieve 100 per cent digitisation of its voter list under the Special Intensive Revision–2026 (SIR–2026), officials announced on Saturday. The breakthrough is being hailed as a major step toward a more transparent, efficient, and citizen-focused electoral system.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Naveen Mahajan called the achievement a “collective victory of Team Rajasthan,” crediting an extensive network of Booth Level Officers, supervising officials, district election authorities, and ground teams across rural and urban regions for their coordinated and disciplined effort.
