COLERAINE 3 CARRICK RANGERS 1

Coleraine showed their powers of recovery to recover from a goal down to beat Carrick Rangers and move top of the Sports Direct Premiership table.

The visitors were in dreamland at the interval when Adam Lecky headed in from close range with 29 minutes on the clock.

However, Coleraine responded to equalise when Luke McCullough netted an own goal from Cameron Stewart’s header with an hour played.

The turnaround was completed on 84 minutes when Joel Cooper played in Jamie McGonigle and he fired Coleraine ahead.

Any tension at The Showgrounds was eased a minute before the full-time whistle when Dean Jarvis was in the right place at the right time to finish off a fine team move.
