NORTH PORT, Fla. ( WWSB ) - North Port is gearing up for a festive celebration of the holiday season at the annual Poinsettia Parade & Festival.

This year’s theme, “Once Upon a North Port Holiday,” invites the community to step into a storybook-inspired celebration filled with seasonal magic.

Weekend holiday events happening across the Suncoast

The event will take place Dec. 6 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the City Center Front Green, 4970 City Hall Boulevard.

The Poinsettia Festival, beginning at 3 p.m., will feature a craft workshop, food and merchandise vendors, live entertainment and performances from community groups, and a kids zone with an opportunity to meet Santa.
