In a thrilling performance at the DP World Tour's Nedbank Challenge, Norwegian golfer Kristoffer Reitan holds a commanding five-shot lead going into the final round on Sunday. Despite a misstep on the last hole that led to a double-bogey, his otherwise stellar performance leaves him poised for a landmark victory.

Reitan began the 18th hole with a seven-shot lead but ended up taking six strokes on the par-four, slightly narrowing his lead. South Africa's Jayden Schaper trails closely, standing at 12 under par.

A victory for Reitan would make him the first Norwegian to triumph in 'Africa's Major'. Reflecting on the day, Reitan commented, "Disappointed with the finish, but overall I'm happy with my game today."
