The Boston Bruins are set to host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night, and head coach Marco Sturm knows the road team presents a lot of challenges.
Although New Jersey is coming off a 3-0 shutout loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday and on the second half of a back-to-back, Sturm expects them to come out strong.
The Bruins head coach, meanwhile, wants his team to be wary of the Devils’ top line, featuring Timo Meier, Nico Hischier, and Stefan Noesen. Sturm knows that line can score in a hurry, so he said the team has to know when they are on the ice.
“If you look at their record, they’re a very good hockey team,” Sturm said on Saturday. “They’ve got a very, very dangerous first line with a lot of skill that can score. Looking at their defensemen, they skate, they have skill.
