Shillong, Dec 6: The Hynñiewtrep Border Dispute Redressal Forum (HBDRF) has expressed frustration over the lack of response from the government despite multiple follow-ups on issues concerning the disputed Block 1 and 2 along the Meghalaya-Assam border.
An executive committee meeting of the forum was held today to assess the progress made on the resolutions stemming from discussions held with the Chief Minister and government officials on July 25.
“We deserve to know the progress,” HBDRF leader Thomas Passah said, adding that slackness on the part of the government would pose challenges for border residents.
