Shaun Cassidy calls himself a storyteller; it's been his life behind-the-scenes in television for years. But his first job, in high school, turned him into something else first: a "teen idol."
Now, Cassidy is using his storytelling skills and his musical talent for his first concert tour in decades: "The Road To Us."
Cassidy signed a record contract while he still was in high school and a star was born. His single "Da Doo Ron Ron," went to No. 1 on the charts. Soon after, he had another hit with "That's Rock 'n' Roll."
As a full-fledged teen idol, there was a Shaun Cassidy doll, Halloween costumes to dress up as Cassidy , even rings with his likeness.
