Kyogo Furuhashi knows that he should have ended his Birmingham City goal drought against Southampton.
That was Chris Davies’ reaction after his big money summer signing missed another gilt-edged chance and fired another blank in the Championship.
Kyogo, who was a 59th minute substitute in Blues’ 3-1 defeat to Southampton, had the chance to set up a grandstand finish when Jack Robinson’s header cannoned back off the post and landed at his feet.
The striker was six yards from goal and Saints goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu was floored, but he couldn’t find the net.
Kyogo has now failed to score in 16 Championship games this season.
