Beckett Sennecke and Ross Johnston each had a goal and an assist and the Ducks defeated the Washington Capitals 4-3 in a shootout Friday night in Anaheim.
Troy Terry and Mason McTavish scored in the shootout for the Ducks, who rallied three times from one-goal deficits in regulation. Ville Husso made 18 saves as Anaheim bounced back from a 7-0 home loss to the Utah Mammoth on Wednesday.
Tom Wilson, Ethen Frank and Aliaksei Protas scored for the Capitals, who had won six straight and were finishing up a four-game road trip. Logan Thompson made 35 saves. Anthony Beauvillier scored Washington's lone shootout goal.
The Capitals took a 1-0 lead at 9:29 of the first period when Justin Sourdif tapped a loose puck back to Wilson for a one-timer from the high slot.
