A TTC employee who was stabbed late last month is now accused of knifing her assailant prior to her being attacked.
Toronto Police say the double stabbing occurred at Dundas Station – located at Yonge and Dundas Sts., now known as TMU Station – shortly after 1 p.m. on Nov. 26.
“It is alleged that the two parties, a male customer and a female TTC employee, became engaged in a verbal altercation near the TTC fare wickets inside the subway station,” police alleged in a statement released Saturday.
“The two parties assaulted each other,” police claim. “The TTC employee then stabbed the customer with a knife.”
Police said the man and woman “separated” but the customer then allegedly “returned and stabbed the TTC employee with a knife.”
