Abu Dhabi is up next for Formula 1, and Red Bull will lead the field to the green flag. Max Verstappen won the pole for the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend. Lando Norris will join Verstappen on the front row on Sunday after a blazing lap. It is Verstappen's eighth pole position of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Oscar Piastri and George Russell will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Oliver Bearman, Carlos Sainz, Kimi Antonelli, Lewis Hamilton, and Alexander Albon all qualified 11th or worse for Sunday's event. It was a smooth qualifying session that saw Hamilton eliminated in Q1 once again.
