Jakob Poeltl waved his arms in frustration when someone missed an assignment and Charlotte’s Ryan Kalkbrenner waltzed unimpeded down the lane for a third-quarter dunk Friday night. A couple of minutes later, Immanuel Quickley was dribbling away the seconds, gesticulating at someone as if to say, “Hey, you’re supposed to be over there,” as a Raptors ’ offensive possession broke down.
They may have been just two isolated moments in an uncharacteristically listless Toronto performance , but these are not fun times around the Raptors, who have lost four of their last five games. And it will be interesting to see how they respond and how real that bonhomie is now that they are being tested.
