BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two Bills players drew NFL fines following a Week 13 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Defensive end A.J. Epenesa was docked $11,593 for taunting early in the third quarter, following a second-and-11 incompletion by Steelers backup quarterback Mason Rudolph. Epenesa was flagged on the play, giving Pittsburgh a first down.
Two plays later, Christian Benford intercepted Rudolph, leading to a field goal as the Bills went on to eventually win 26-7.
Wide receiver Gabe Davis was also fined. He lost $6,500 for unnecessary roughness, for what the NFL deemed an improper use of the helmet with 1:04 left before halftime.
