The City of Clermont began its holiday festivities on Friday, December 5 , in the historic downtown district with the 36th annual Light-Up Clermont celebration . This year’s theme, “Christmas of Champions,” filled the streets with live music and festive chorus performances.
City Hall Park was alive with holiday cheer as families gathered to enjoy pop-style Christmas music while awaiting the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree. Classic tunes such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer brought children onto the grassy dance floor, where they joyfully acted out the lyrics beneath a bright, beautiful full moon.
