A juvenile is recovering after falling off a float and getting run over during the Cleveland Christmas parade Saturday night.
The Bradley County Sheriff's Office said it took place in the parking lot of Bradley Central High School, where the parade started.
The participant, whose identity has not been released, was riding on the float, but fell off as it was making a low-speed turn.
After falling, the agency says the juvenile was run over by the tires of the float.
Deputies and emergency medical personnel on scene responded "immediately." They say the juvenile was alert and conscious at the scene and was hospitalized for further evaluation.
We are working to determine the kid's current condition.
