Max Verstappen has insisted that he is "definitely not disappointed" after Lando Norris ended his four-year reign as F1 world champion.

Verstappen won the season-ending grand prix in Abu Dhabi, ending the campaign with more victories than any other driver, but Norris's third-place finish was enough to win the championship by two points.

It denied Verstappen a fifth consecutive title, a feat only Ferrari great Michael Schumacher has managed so far.

“Congrats, guys," he told his team after crossing the finish line.
