Manchester United's search for a new midfielder remains unsolved heading into the January transfer window but the club won't be welcoming another wonderkid any time soon

Manchester United reportedly passed up the chance to add another young talent to their squad, with midfielder Mouhamed Dabo not being offered a contract after a recent trial at Old Trafford. The 17-year-old spent some time training with United earlier this season after being spotted by club scouts.

Despite making a good impression, Dabo was not offered a deal and has since signed a pre-contract with Croatian second division side NK Kustošija. The youngster recently represented Senegal in the Under-17 World Cup, reaching the Round of 32 before being knocked out by Uganda.
