Zootopia 2 has surpassed a staggering box office milestone. The Disney animated sequel debuted in theaters on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and earned the second-best 5-day opening weekend for the holiday frame in history (behind 2024's Moana 2 ). On its second Wednesday, it became the seventh Disney animated movie to ever gross more than $600 million worldwide.

Per Variety , as of Sunday morning, Zootopia 2 is projected to hit a worldwide box office total of $915.8 million by the end of its second weekend in theaters. This comprises $220.5 million from domestic theaters and an additional $695.3 million from international markets (including China, where it recently became the second highest-grossing American movie of all time behind Avengers: Endgame ).
