KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A loss of a loved one during the holiday season can be difficult to overcome.
Berry Highland South Funeral Home held their annual Remembrance Day Ceremony on Saturday for people who are grieving their loved ones during the season.
The Remembrance Ceremony started at 5 p.m. with families and friends.
After the ceremony, families and friends could gather outside. The funeral home also passed out candles for people to place on their loved one’s graves.
MeKenzie Russell Lane, LPC/MHSP owns Bloom Well Counseling in Maryville and is community liaison for HeartLight Center .
She said milestones people come across during the holidays can be the hardest milestones anyone comes across.
