After an amazing 11-1 season led by the 2nd year head coach Mike Elko, the Texas A&M Aggies are headed to the College Football Playoffs for the first time in program history. Texas A&M was just 1 win shy of competing in the Southeastern Conference Championship where if they won they would have had a guaranteed spot, but a loss to rivals Texas Longhorns left the Aggies out of Championship Saturday.

The committee has placed the team at the #7 spot giving the 12th Man a chance to cheer on their team at Kyle Field against #10 Miami. The Aggies have an undefeated record in College Station this year.
