The Ohio State Buckeyes enter the College Football Playoff as the No. 2 seed and will begin their title defense at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

Following an undefeated regular season, the Buckeyes fell to the Indiana Hoosiers in the Big Ten Championship 13-10. Nonetheless, the defending champs will begin the playoffs in the quarterfinals.
