Michigan football is headed back to the state of Florida for another bowl game.
The 18th-ranked Wolverines have been selected to play in the Citrus Bowl on Dec. 31 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
The New Year’s Eve game will kick off at 3 p.m. ET and air nationally on ABC, before the first College Football Playoff quarterfinal round game at the Cotton Bowl.
Their opponent? Texas, a familiar foe who finished 13th in the final College Football Playoff ranking unveiled on Sunday.
The 9-3 Longhorns finished fifth in the SEC this season, with wins over Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. Their losses came against Ohio State (by seven points), Florida (by eight points) and a lopsided performance against Georgia.
