LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska football team will make its 55th bowl appearance on Dec. 31 when the Huskers play in the Las Vegas Bowl. Nebraska will face Utah at 2:30 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Nebraska is playing in the post-season for the second time under Matt Rhule with a 7-5 record. The Huskers became bowl eligible on Oct. 28 with a 28-21 win over Northwestern. Utah, meanwhile, carries a 10-2 record into the Las Vegas Bowl. The Utes boast one of the nation’s top offenses averaging 40.9 points per game.
The Las Vegas Bowl marks a full-circle experience for Nebraska. The Huskers kicked off the 2025 campaign in Sin City for Big Ten Media Days.
