A man has been found dead on a busy motorway, police have said in a statement.

The 24-year-old was found on a slip road along the M4, after police received reports of the man in distress on a footbridge nearby.

The motorway was closed near Bridgend on Saturday, December 6 as emergency services attended the scene with ambulance unsuccessfully attempting resuscitation, Wales Online reports.
