New Delhi / Murshidabad, Dec 07: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Gulam Ali on Saturday strongly criticised suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir for constructing a mosque in Murshidabad and naming it after the Babri Masjid, a decision that has sparked a fresh political controversy across West Bengal.

The foundation stone for the mosque was laid earlier this week, drawing sharp reactions from various quarters and prompting heightened security measures in the district.
