The Washington Commanders bad day in Minnesota got worse when a tipped interception turned into an injury for QB Jayden Daniels. Washington was going for it on 4th down, down 14-0 in the 3rd quarter when disaster struck. Andrew Van Ginkel batted Daniels’ pass in the air, and picked it off. On the return, Daniels was in pursuit when he was taken out by Vikings CB Isaiah Rodgers.

Daniels missed the last three games after suffering a dislocated elbow in Week 9. He was cleared this week, and practiced fully the last two days. Dan Quinn announced on Friday that Daniels was returning to start, and there was optimism about getting meaningful reps in for the final five games.
