McLaren driver Lando Norris won the 2025 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship after finishing third at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday, behind Max Verstappen and his teammate Oscar Piastri. At 26, Norris becomes the first McLaren driver to win the title since Lewis Hamilton in 2008 and the eleventh British driver to claim a Formula 1 world championship.
