A postseason game between two teams ranked in the preseason top five will be played in a baseball stadium.

The Nittany Lions and Tigers were both in the College Football Playoff last season. A year later, they’re set to play each other in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 27 in Yankee Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon on ABC.

The announcement didn’t come until late Sunday afternoon as the ACC’s bowl picture was muddled by Notre Dame’s decision to opt out the postseason after missing the College Football Playoff.
