CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Just after midnight on December 7, Charlottesville Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Willow Drive and Grace Street.

Upon arrival, officers found several shell casings near the soccer field at Sunrise Elementary School. A search of the surrounding area led officers to two individuals believed to be connected to the incident. After conducting an on-scene investigation, both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
