Peel Regional Police made quick work of an attempted robbery last week at Erin Mills Town Centre, rounding up four teenage suspects within three minutes of them fleeing from the Mississauga mall.
Police said four hammer-wielding thugs — wearing masks and all-black clothing — were spotted entering the mall at Erin Mills Pkwy. and Eglinton Ave. on Wednesday at about 2:50 p.m. Security personnel and an on-site, paid-duty officer pursued them.
One of the suspects was nabbed by security, while the three other suspects allegedly fled in a stolen Honda CR-V, which was “quickly spotted” by officers from the 11 Division Community Intervention and Response Team.
