Father arrested for allegedly allowing 13-year-old daughter to drive resulting in crash in Mesa
A father was arrested on Friday night after he allegedly allowed his young daughter to drive and she crashed into a building in Mesa, authorities said.
According to the Mesa Police Department, officers were dispatched at 9 p.m. after a vehicle drove off the roadway and into a building near Dobson and Baseline roads.
Photos of the crash shared by police identified the building as a My Arizona Lawyers office.
Police said that the driver of the car was identified as a 13-year-old girl and that the passenger was her father.
