WASHINGTON — AT&T customers have just over a week left to apply for their share of a $177 million class action settlement .
AT&T agreed to pay to settle a class action lawsuit about two "data incidents" from 2024.
Those affected by the data breach have until Dec. 18 to file their claim in the class action lawsuit. The deadline for those wishing to exclude themselves from the lawsuit has passed.
The incidents resulted in some customer data, including names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, account passcodes, billing account numbers and Social Security numbers, being put on the dark web or illegally downloaded off a third-party cloud platform, according to the Kroll Settlement Administration.
