08RAJOURI, Dec 7: On the directions of CEO Rajouri, the Zonal Education Officer Rajouri conducted a surprise inspection at Primary School, Ward No. 4, Rajouri, on Saturday to assess staff punctuality, attendance, and the implementation of the PM Poshan (Mid-Day Meal) Scheme.

During the visit, it was found that out of the five sanctioned staff members, only one teacher, Nazia Akhtar, was present on duty, while Shagufta Dar was on sanctioned leave.

The remaining three teachers Meenakshi Sharma, Uzma Naz, and Sheetal Moni were found absent from duty without prior permission or any intimation.

Taking a serious view, CEO made it clear that absenteeism in schools will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He directed all ZEOs to intensify inspections and ensure strict adherence to duty n
