Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be heading into the IPL 2026 auction with a clear mindset and less tension as the franchise already has a balanced squad, this means that they only need to make few additions. With 17 players already retained and six overseas spots secured – RCB now has a purse of INR 16.40 crore. Now the defending champions only have to fill eight spots out of which two are for the overseas players.
RCB retained most of their primary players this includes – Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, Phil Salt, Jitesh Sharma, Tim David, Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Swapnil Singh, Jacob Bethell and Suvyash Sharma. The team also has a well-balanced pace attack – Josh Hazlewood, Nuwan Thushara, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, and Rasikh Dar.
