MOUNT PLEASANT — New documents and renderings filed with the town give a sneak peek at what to expect with the $500 million real estate project at Patriots Point.
The long-planned Patriots Annex will include luxury hotels, residences, and commercial and retail space along Charleston Harbor developed by Charleston-based Bennett Hospitality . The company leases the 31-acre property from the authority that oversees Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum .
Mount Pleasant officials are reviewing the final approvals needed for the development to get underway, with hopes the town’s Design Review Board will clear those soon.
