Mumbai: Filmmaker Anil Sharma spoke of his last meeting with veteran actor Dharmendra. In an exclusive interview with News9, he recollected the late actor’s unquenchable thirst for cinema even when he was nearing 90.
“We wanted to celebrate his 90th birthday. The last time I met him was in October. I had gone to his house to meet him. We chatted for a long time. He was in his elements and full of energy. His love and passion for cinema didn’t decrease even as he was nearing 90,” said Anil. He said that Dharmendra asked him to write a good story. “I want to do a good role. The camera is my lover, and she’s calling me,” said the actor to Anil.
