LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - High pressure is building overhead and that is keeping things nice and quiet to start off the work week!
Make sure to go ahead and grab the heavier jacket and coat though as you make your way out the door to work and school as winds are back out of the north.
Sunshine is back in the forecast through the afternoon, but even so, temperatures will only warm into the middle to upper 50s.
Winds will remain very gusty at times with a northerly wind remaining around 15 to 25 mph at times, which will make it feel even cooler through the second half of the day.
An even colder start will be around as we head into Tuesday morning, which will bring the chance for frost and freeze potential for many locations.
The chance for frost will go all the way down to the intracoa
