CHICAGO (WLS) -- One woman was killed and another injured on a crash in Logan Square Monday morning, Chicago police said.

The crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. in the 3800-block of West Diversey Avenue.

Police said two 31-year-old women were in a black sedan heading westbound on Diversey Avenue when the driver lost control and hit a parked car and veered across the road and struck the back of a semi-truck traveling eastbound.

The woman who was a passenger in the sedan was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she was listed in good condition, police said.

The driver of the semi-truck declined treatment.
