NEW DELHI: IndiGo’s operational crisis entered its seventh consecutive day on Monday, with more than 500 large-scale flight cancellations continuing across major airports, leaving thousands of passengers stranded nationwide. According to the ministry of civil aviation, IndiGo has planned to operate 1,802 flights to 137 of its 138 destinations on Monday. The ministry said the airline has already delivered about 4,500 bags to passengers and is targeting the delivery of the remaining 4,500 bags within the next 36 hours. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has declined to hear a plea seeking judicial intervention in the cancellation of hundreds of flights, stating that the government has already taken cognisance of the matter and initiated action.
